Dodd Ferrelle and the WinterVillains are currently working on their first record under that name. The band has been working on “Summer Hearts” off an on for 2 years with Grammy nominated producer John Keane. Many of the members have played with Dodd at some point in his career so this will be a bridging of many of the best parts of bands past. Those long time relationships have shone through on this record with an understated sweep of melodic and sonic sound-scaping beneath Ferrelle’s plaintive and endearing vocals. The band hopes to finish the record by December 2018 for an early 2019 release.
